Brooke

Brooke is a 14 month old Boxer. She is an energetic, lively young dog. She will probably never be the most obedient pet but she is a lot of fun! She was given up by her last owners as they could not give her the time and training she deserved and she started to become frustrated and snappy toward some people. Brooke is a lovely dog, who needs a home with dedicated owners who are prepared to give her the time and attention she deserves. She is suitable to live with children over 14.

Fly

Fly is a 2 year old Staffie cross Collie. She is a lovely, sweet young dog who is always happy!  She loves people and other dogs and has the potential to make  a great family pet.  She hasn't had any basic training so this will need to be started in the home, however generally she is quite well behaved.  Fly is a wonderful dog who deserves a loving home. She is suitable to live with children over 10.

Thomas

Thomas is a 3 year old Staffie. He is a lovely dog who has a very sweet nature and loves people.  He is very tolerant of other dogs and is generally well behaved.  He does have one behaviour problem of grabbing the lead in the kennels but this should improve in a home environment and a chain lead can be used as a deterrent in the short term. He is suitable to live with children over 10.

Ralphy

Ralphy is a 4 year old Shar Pei. He is a sweet dog. He only has sight in his right eye and has little hearing. He has a gentle nature but will growl at some new people. He needs to be able to approach people in his own time. He has no basic training but walks well on the lead. although he likes other dogs he would be best suited as the only dog. He enjoys the company of people and likes the occasional cuddle. This special boy deserves a kind loving quite home. He is suitable to live with children over 14.

Chelsea

Chelsea is a 2 year old Mongrel. She is a sweet dog who came to us as a stray.  She often smiles (shows her teeth) at people when she meets them, but she is being friendly and is not aggressive in any way!  She loves attention and enjoys being groomed, she likes to be with people and has escaped out of a 6 foot fence when she has been left on her own!  Chelsea is a lovely dog who deserves a great home. She is suitable to live with children over 10.

Diamond

Diamond is a 3 year old Greyhound. He is a sweet, timid ex racing greyhound who has a quiet nature.  He will make a laid back pet for caring owners who are responsible and understand that he will need to muzzled in public due to his high prey drive. He is suitable to live with children over 10.

Frolic

Frolic is a 1 year old Jack Russell. She is a happy young dog who loves everyone! She has had some basic training and has passed the kennel club good citizen dog scheme puppy foundation assessment. She is willing to learn and would benefit from extra training and an activity like agility would be ideal for this bright little pup. she will require active owners who have sufficient spare time to dedicate to training her. In the right home Frolic will make a fun family pet. She is suitable to live with children over 8. Reserved. We can take second reserves.

Misty

Misty is a 4 year old quiet greyhound. He can be a little timid but enjoys human attention.  He is not interested in playing with toys but loves food.  He is an ex racing greyhound so must be muzzled and kept on a lead at all times in public areas.  Misty is a sweet dog who would suit a quiet, caring home. He is suitable to live with children over 10.

Pilot

Pilot is a 6 year old Greyhound. He is a fun dog with lots of character.  He loves to play and will chase any toys which you throw for him, he especially loves squeaky toys.  Pilot is an ex racing greyhound so must be muzzled and kept on a lead at all times in public areas.  He is a lovely dog who will make a fun pet to own. He is looking for a home where he will be the only pet. He is suitable to live with children over 10.

Randy

Randy is a 5 year old Greyhound. He is a laid back happy dog. He is an ex racing greyhound so he MUST to be muzzled in all public areas. Randy loves human company and mixes well with other dogs, he will make a good companion in any home. He is suitable to live with children over 5. Reserved. We can take second reserves.

Mustang

Mustang is a 3 year old sweet, excitable ex racing greyhound.  He has a high prey drive and due to his breed and history MUST be muzzled at all times when out in public.  He loves to play and will make a fun, family pet. He is suitable to live with children over 5.

Nye

Nye is an 18 month old German Shepherd cross. He is a lovely, sweet dog who can look intimidating at times due to his size and appearance.  Like many GSDs, he can be very vocal at times and will bark at strangers until he meets them.  He enjoys playing with other dogs and is fine to handle and groom.  He would suit owners who have previously had GSDs and are prepared to put in time and effort training him.  Nye is a lovely dog who will make a brilliant pet. He is looking for a home with children over 10. Reserved. We can take second reserves.

Chad

Chad is a 6 year old Staffie. He is a lovely friendly boy.  He loves cuddles and will sit on your lap for attention.  Chad walks well on the lead and has lots of character, he is a brilliant dog who will make a loving family pet. He is suitable to live with children over 10.

Tanuki

Tanuki is a 2 year old German Shepherd cross Husky. He is a very strong, independent dog. He has had little socialising or training and as a result is very vocal whenever he sees another dog, he has been undergoing training to combat this and has improved considerably. He will need lots of training and input and will require adequate exercise as he is very active. He is only suitable for experienced owners and would ideally suit someone who has previously owned a Husky or a German Shepherd, as Tanuki has numerous traits of both these breed types. Tanuki is a lovely dog who needs a special home. He is suitable to live with children over 10.

Tia is a confident, friendly 4 year old dog. She has had some basic training, but still needs a little more. She can be quite demanding at times and will bark for attention and jump up, this will need to be worked on in the home.  Given time Tia should make a loyal, family pet. She is looking for a home with children over 10.

Pemba

Pemba is a 2 year old Mongrel. She is a lively young dog. She needs a lot of training and she doesn't understand how to interact with other dogs so she will need a lot of effort put into socialising her while she is still young. Pemba is very intelligent and would suit experienced owners who have had terrier or collie types before as Pemba has a lot of these breed types characteristics. Given time and the correct training Pemba will make a great family pet with children over 14. Reserved. We can take second reserves.

Sebastian

Sebastian is a 4 year old Leonburger X. He is a lovely boy who at times can be nervous. He's very friendly and once he gets to know you is very playful. Sebastian has had very little training and socialising and as a result lacks confidence when his surroundings change. Sebastian needs owners who are prepared to put in lots of time and effort into building up his confidence. He does not like other dogs so will need to be the only pet in a household. He is looking for a home with children over 14.

Jonesy

Jonesy is a 4 year old German Shepherd cross. He is a happy friendly dog. He is very strong on the lead so will need some further training. He gets on well with other dogs, he has lived with Frodo for a year. Jonesy is looking for a home with children over 13. He will make a fantastic pet for a patient owner.

Yeti

Yeti is a 3 year old Mastiff cross. He is a strong, confident dog who can be very affectionate. He has a strong dislike of other dogs and MUST be muzzled at all times when he is out as he will attack another dog. Yeti will need experienced owners and would be best suited to a quieter rural area where he can be kept away from other dogs. Yeti can be protective and unpredictable with unknown people, particularly men. Yeti is unsuitable to be rehomed with children due to his size but would be good company for an adult household.

Freud

Freud is a 1 year old collie cross. He is a very excitable, highly strung collie who came to us as a stray. He loves to play with any type of toy but will not always give them up. He is not happy being handled or groomed and will snap if pushed, he also has some food possession problems. He is not suitable as a family pet and would be best suited to a very active competition or working home. With experienced owners and training Freud will make a rewarding dog to own. He is suitable to live with children over 16.

Charlie

Charlie is a 4 year old cocker cross. He is very boisterous, playful dog who originally came to us as his owner moved abroad. He was rehomed for a few months but developed some behaviour problems and was returned to us. He needs to be muzzled at all times when out in public as he can be aggressive with both dogs and people. He is a lovely house dog but needs a lot of training when out on walks. Charlie would suit experienced owners who have the time and energy to put into training him. He is suitable to live in a home with children over 16.

Hicksy

Hicksy is a 3 year old staffie. She is a boisterous young dog who came to us as a stray. She can be strong on the lead and is very energetic, but has a lovely temperament and is very playful. Hicksy has had some basic training and appears to be housetrained. She is a lovely dog who deserves a permanent, caring home. She is looking for a home with children over 10.

Leon

Leon is a 7 year old staffie. He is a confident very energetic dog who came to us as a stray. He can be very strong on the lead and will need some basic training. He is ok with most of the dogs he meets but will fight if he is provoked so care would need to be taken in public areas. He enjoys the company of people but is not a particularly cuddly dog. Given time Leon will be a loyal pet. He is looking for a home with children over 10.

Lizzie

Lizzie is a 6 year old staffie cross. She is a happy, very friendly dog who loves to be around people. She does not like other dogs. She is housetrained, travels well in the car and is not destructive when left. Lizzie has a lovely temperament and will make a loving family pet. She is suitable to live with children over 4.
